Finding our roots in humble beginnings, FIU’s collegiate Model United Nations program has grown into one of the most successful MUN programs in North America. The program has continuously been ranked as the highest among public schools in North America and the state of Florida, with over a decade as a top 10 team.

Most recently, FIU MUN was awarded Best Large Delegation for the first time at Harvard National Model United Nations in 2019, the most competitive and highest-ranked conference in the world, and was ranked #3 in North America in 2022. Outside of rigorous traveling and extensive studying, you can find our team laughing too loud in the study areas or workshopping speeches at team meetings. The combined youth and creativity of the staff define our approach toward MUN, and toward developing a conference uniquely tailored to the interests of our delegates. We hope to encourage delegates to find their unique voices when proposing new solutions and crisis ideas, as our team strives to do at every conference.  FIMUN 35 is the creative culmination of the thousands and thousands of delegates influenced over the past three-plus decades. As the premier high school conference not just in Miami-Dade County, nor Florida, but the entire South, we are committed to delivering an unparalleled experience to our delegates from GA committees to crisis rooms.  Our staff looks forward to seeing what the delegates have to offer this year and welcomes you all to FIMUN 35!
