Miguel is a second year student at FIU, majoring in International business. This is his second year of being involved in FIMUN on the team and has previously attended FIMUN as a delegate throughout his years of highschool. Miguel is also one of the Head Delegates on the FIU MUN team this year. He looks forward to seeing all the solutions created and seeing the debate that delegates can bring about elaborate topics. Miguel is very excited to be the director for the Ad-Hoc committee and cannot wait to see you all this FIMUN.

Monica Mata is a sophomore at FIU majoring in International Business as part of the honors college. Monica joined Model UN during her first year of college and is forever grateful for how it has allowed her to grow as a person and develop a greater understanding of the world around her. She is passionate about advocating for human, animal, and environmental rights. She has always felt strongly that people can come together to try and make the world a better place if we are to learn from past mistakes instead of run from them, which is why she quickly fell in love with Model UN. In addition to MUN, Monica loves reading anything and everything, watching science and history documentaries, spending time being active outdoors, and finding delicious vegan restaurants in beautiful Miami. She had a rewarding time at last year's FIMUN and is looking forward to representing the secretariat this year and seeing all of you incredible people soon.
